ESN Salerno insieme ad ESN Bari organizza una gita in una delle città più belle e particolari del sud Italia: MATERA!

DESCRIZIONE:
I Sassi sono la prima cosa che viene in mente quando si pensa a Matera. Costituiscono il centro storico della città , un particolare intreccio di vicoli, chiese e case antiche che sprofondano nella terra, conservando tracce delle epoche storiche e degli avvenimenti che si sono susseguiti in città. Quest'enorme scultura ha preservato sin dal più lontano passato paleolitico il modo di abitare delle caverne, accanto alle quali sono sorte abitazioni più moderne: ad ogni epoca storica che si ripercorre, infatti, è possibile associare una particolare tipologia di abitazione. I Sassi di Matera sono stati accolti nel Patrimonio dell'Umanità dell'Unesco con la definizione di paesaggio culturale. 

PROGRAMMA:
07.00 – Appuntamento a Piazza Casalbore (stadio Vestuti). 
11.00 - Visita di Matera con guida professionale in Inglese e Spagnolo.
17.00 - Partenza per Salerno.

COME PRENOTARE:
Per prenotare è necessario pagare la fee di 20 € allo staff di ESN a partire da Martedì 6 Ottobre presso l'ostello Ave Gratia dalle 16.00 alle 18.00

ESN Salerno, wih ESN Bari, organizes an excursion in one of the most beautiful and particular city of south Italy: MATERA!

"I Sassi" (The Stones) are the first thing that comes to mind when one thinks of Matera. They are the center of the city, a particular weaving of streets, churches and old houses sinking intothe ground, keeping track of historicals periods and events that have occurred in the city. This huge sculpture has preserved, since the far Paleolithic era, the way of living in the caves, next to which have arisen more modern houses: indeed, for each retraced historical period it is possible to associate a different type of house. The “Sassi di Matera” have been inserted into the World Heritage List with the definition of cultural landscape. 

PROGRAM:
07.00 - Meeting point in Piazza Casalbore (Vestuti Stadium)
11.00 - Tour of the city with a professional guide in English and Spanish.
17.00 - Departure to Salerno.

HOW TO RESERVE:
To reserve you need to pay the fee of 20€ at hhe ESN Salerno staff starting from Tuesday 6th of October at Ave Gratia Hostal from 16.00 to 18.00
