Alle spalle di Amalfi, c'è un un fantastico bosco di felci attraversato da ruscelli....
Il Vallone delle Ferriere è un percorso che dai Monti Lattari discende verso Amalfi attraversando boschi di felci e costeggiando ruscelli. Il nome deriva dalla presenza di ruderi di ferriere di origine medievale.
La nostra escursione comincerà a Scala,la cittadina più antica della costiera amalfitana. Ammirando lo stupendo panorama, scenderemo addentrandoci nella valle.
La zona è anche conosciuta come Vallone dei Mulini per la presenza nella parte finale del percorso di mulini azionati ad acqua che servivano per la produzione della famosa carta di Amalfi.
Il costo dell'escursione è GRATUITA in quanto utilizzeremo mezzi pubblici (a vostro carico),e la guida è riservata ai possessori di ESNcard (vi verrà richiesto il numero di ESNCARD nel FORM)
MEETING POINT: 9:15 presso il terminal dei bus in via Vinciprova

COME ARRIVEREMO?
Da Salerno prenderemo il bus per Amalfi,in seguito da Amalfi,prenderemo il bus per scala.
Al ritorno prenderemo semplicemente il bus per Salerno da Amalfi.

Just behind Amalfi, there's an amazing lush wood with fern-lined streams.
The Vallone delle Ferriere route commences in the Monti Latteri. From here it descends towards Amalfi through a wood of tall chestnut trees and rare, long leaved ferns. The ruins of the medieval foundries, which gave the valley its name, can still be seen.
Our excursion will start from Scala,the more ancient village of the amalfitan coast.From there we will admire the amazing wiew going down through the valley.
The valley is also known as the Vallone dei Mulini and, the final stage of the walk, takes visitors past a number of water powered mills which once the produced Amalfi's famous paper.
The excursion is FREE,becouse we're going to use the public transport(on your charge),and the guide is reserved to ESNcard possessors(the ESNcard will be required to fill the FORM)

HOW WE WILL GET THERE?
We will take the bus from Salerno to Amalfi.Once in Amalfi we will take the bus for Scala.
On the way back we will simply take the bus from Amalfi to Salerno.
