L'Italia non è solo Roma, Venezia e Firenze; l'Italia è anche e soprattutto fatta di piccole realtà fuori dagli schemi turistici che conservano meglio le tradizioni, la cultura e gli usi locali. Anche i posti meno turistici hanno tanto da insegnare e tanto da mostrare!
Sabato 22 Aprile, ESN Salerno in collaborazione con ESN Foggia ti invita a passare una tipica giornata salentina tra tradizione, divertimento, cibo e ancora divertimento.
La meta della giornata sarà Foggia, città strategica nel centro del Tavoliere delle Puglie, noto anche come "granaio d'Italia"; la città è ricca di architettura barocca e il suo periodo di maggior splendore fu durante il regno di Federico II Svevo, che qui ha costruito un maestoso palazzo imperiale. Il nostro programma inizia con la visita della città alla scoperta del centro storico, che conserva le tracce del suo illustre passato. 
Dopo il city tour, il programma entra nel vivo con lo Street Food Festival “Libando, viaggiare mangiando”. Libando è l’evento che invita a riscoprire il cibo di strada, da sempre parte delle tradizioni italiane, dove molto spesso le famiglie di venditori ambulanti si tramandano i “segreti” e le ricette di generazione in generazione. Il festival è diventato un appuntamento fisso per la città, con stand di street food in sei piazze principali, artisti di strada, dj set, musica e intrattenimento per tutto il centro storico. 
Per chiudere in bellezza, la sera ci ritroveremo con gli studenti internazionali di Foggia per il tipico Botellon in stile erasmus e andremo insieme alla festa in discoteca organizzata dai volontari di ESN Foggia.

Saturday, April 22nd, ESN Salerno in collaboration with ESN Foggia invites you to spend a typical day in Salento between tradition, fun, food and more fun. 
The destination of the day will be Foggia, a strategic town in the center of the Tavoliere, also known as the "granary of Italy"; the city is rich in baroque architecture and its period of greatest splendor was during the rule of Swabian Frederick II, who built a majestic Imperial Palace. Our program begins with a visit of the city to discover the historical center, which retains traces of its illustrious past. 
After the city tour, the program gets to the heart with the Street Food Festival "Libando, travel eating." Libando is the event that invites us to rediscover the street food, always been part of the Italian tradition, where very often the vendors families hand down their "secrets" and recipes from one generation to another. The festival has become a regular appointment for the city, with street food stands in six main squares, street performers, DJ sets, music and entertainment all around the historical center.
To round off the evening we will meet with the international students of Foggia for the Botellón in typical Erasmus-style and we will go together to the disco party organized by the volunteers of ESN Foggia.

Sábado 22 de abril, ESN Salerno en colaboración con ESN Foggia te invita a pasar un día típico en Salento entre tradición, diversión, comida y más diversión.
El destino del día será Foggia, una ciudad estratégica en el centro del Tavoliere, también conocido como el "granero de Italia"; La ciudad es rica en arquitectura barroca y su período de mayor esplendor fue durante el gobierno de Federico II de Suabia, que construyó un majestuoso Palacio Imperial. Nuestro programa comienza con una visita de la ciudad para descubrir el centro histórico, que conserva rastros de su ilustre pasado.
Después del city tour, el programa llega al corazón con el festival de street food "Libando, viajar comiendo". Libando es el evento que nos invita a redescubrir la comida callejera, siempre parte de la tradición italiana, donde muy a menudo las familias de los vendedores pasan sus "secretos" y recetas de una generación a otra. El festival se ha convertido en una cita regular para la ciudad, con puestos de comida callejera en seis plazas principales, artistas callejeros, DJ sets, música y entretenimiento en todo el centro histórico.
Para terminar la noche, nos reuniremos con los estudiantes internacionales de Foggia para el Botellón en típico estilo Erasmus y juntos iremos a la fiesta en disco organizada por los voluntarios de ESN Foggia.
